THANDA 01 – 06

A series of six framed textile installations created from collected fabrics in Cape Town. Each material was reassembled, primed, and painted in soft pink, with care labels re-attached in a shuffled order. THANDA reflects on care, equality, and interdependence: how we relate to each other despite differences, and how rituals of attention and handling shape human connection. The work functions as both image and installation, inviting reflection on intimacy, ambiguity, and collective belonging.
